All of the comment links now point to the wiki part of my site. There’s all sorts of random stuff on there, feel free to browse around, or even write something. The web is supposed to be writeable, so go ahead and write. I’m simply using the the_ID() function in wordpress to generate what should be a unique page in the wiki. It ain’t perfect, but it should be good enough. I’m willing to let this area go wild, there won’t be any editing or rolling back of any pages, though I might move anything I want to keep over as a blog post. Time will tell.
Strangely enough I found myself going back to the latest Gillmor gang podcast(this ain’t a link, it’s a gesture) and listening to the long six minutes of advertising that I normally skip over. Why? I was about to register a new domain name and knew that I could get a couple bucks off by using one of the codes that Steve Gillmor lists off somewhere in that rambling six minute commercial. Got the code, got the discount – Thanks. So, does this mean that advertising in podcasts works? I dunno, probably would have used godaddy even without the promo code. I just found it interesting that I had to actively seek out advertising that I normally actively avoid. Take that for whatever you want. And I still don’t know what Earthlink is trying to sell me.
