trying to revive old skills

I used to love drawing and sketching. A day wouldn’t go by without a pencil and paper in hand. For some reason this dropped off in highschool(strangely at about the same time I stopped reading for pleasure). I’ve been a reading fool the last couple of years, trying to make up for lost time, and just recently I’ve started to pick up the old pencil and sketchbook. Results are sill shaky, looking back at drawings done when I was 10 or 11 and comparing to today are pretty sad. You can almost see the lack of confidence in the lines.

I also picked up a wacom tablet and a copy of artrage. That’s been a lot of fun, though definitely takes some getting used to. Below is one of my first attempts.

duck first
Then I tried to cleanup, this is by far the weakest part.
duck second
Add a little color.
duck third
And the finish
duck final

fumblerooski!

My favorite play in all of sports is the fumblerooski. I love that San Diego used it today against Denver – and scored a touchdown doing it. Oh yeah, LaDainian Tomlinson is really good.
